Chaenomeles x superba 'Crimson & Gold' (Japanese quince 'Crimson and Gold') is a member of the Rosaceae family. This deciduous shrubs exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H6 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Chaenomeles x superba 'Crimson & Gold' can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 1.5–2.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing,east–facing,south–facing,north–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure.
