Phormium cookianum 'Flamingo' (mountain flax 'Flamingo') is a member of the Asphodelaceae family. This evergreen shrub exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage.

When fully mature, Phormium cookianum 'Flamingo' can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers east–facing, south–facing, west–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
