Aubrieta 'Blue Cascade' is a member of the Brassicaceae family. This alpine exhibits a matforming growth habit and is characterised by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy (very cold winter [-20 to -15ºc]) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe, with many plants grown in containers becoming damaged unless given protection.
When fully mature, Aubrieta 'Blue Cascade' can reach an ultimate height of 0.0–0.1 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers a west–facing or south–facing aspect and an exposed or sheltered position. It thrives best in chalk, loam, or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun.
