Heuchera 'Green Spice' (alum root 'Green Spice') is a member of the Saxifragaceae family. This perennial exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterised by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy (very cold winter [-20 to -15ºc]) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe, with many plants grown in containers becoming damaged unless given protection.
When fully mature, Heuchera 'Green Spice' can reach an ultimate height of 0.1–0.5 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers a west–facing, south–facing, north–facing, or east–facing aspect and an exposed or sheltered position. It thrives best in loam or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun or partial shade.
