Heuchera 'Fire Chief' ® (alum root 'Fire Chief') is a member of the Saxifragaceae family. This perennial exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterised by its semi evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy (very cold winter [-20 to -15ºc]) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe, with many plants grown in containers becoming damaged unless given protection.
When fully mature, Heuchera 'Fire Chief' ® can reach an ultimate height of 0.1–0.5 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers a north–facing, east–facing, south–facing, or west–facing aspect and an exposed or sheltered position. It thrives best in loam or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun or partial shade.
