Disporum longistylum 'Green Giant' (long-styled disporum 'Green Giant') is a member of the Colchicaceae family. This perennial exhibits a columnar upright growth habit and is characterised by its semi evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy (very cold winter [-20 to -15ºc]) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe, with many plants grown in containers becoming damaged unless given protection. It features a flower fragrance.

When fully mature, Disporum longistylum 'Green Giant' can reach an ultimate height of 2.5–4 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers an east–facing or west–facing aspect and a sheltered position. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, or sand soil types and should be placed in partial shade.
