Cotoneaster conspicuus 'Decorus' (Tibetan cotoneaster 'Decorus') is a member of the Rosaceae family. This evergreen shrub is characterised by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy (very cold winter [-20 to -15ºc]) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe, with many plants grown in containers becoming damaged unless given protection.
When fully mature, Cotoneaster conspicuus 'Decorus' can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 1.5–2.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers a south–facing, west–facing, east–facing, or north–facing aspect and a sheltered position. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun or partial shade.
