Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Karl Foerster' (feather reed grass 'Karl Foerster') is a member of the Poaceae family. This grasse exhibits a tufted growth habit and is characterised by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy (very cold winter [-20 to -15ºc]) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe, with many plants grown in containers becoming damaged unless given protection.
