Aruncus 'Horatio' (goat's beard 'Horatio') is a member of the Rosaceae family. This perennial exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc), and is hardy throughout the uk and northern europe. many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection. .

When fully mature, Aruncus 'Horatio' can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing, east–facing, west–facing aspect and exposed, sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay, loam soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
