Artemisia ludoviciana 'Valerie Finnis' (western mugwort 'Valerie Finnis') is a member of the Asteraceae family. This perennial exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterised by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy (very cold winter [-20 to -15ºc]) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe, with many plants grown in containers becoming damaged unless given protection. It features a flower fragrance.

When fully mature, Artemisia ludoviciana 'Valerie Finnis' can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres.
